Navigating rocky trails, switchbacks, potholes and of course mud, the FJ Summit in Ouray, Colo. is an off-roader’s paradise. As a second year sponsor, we showed off the latest protective cases for Toyota FJ Cruiser enthusiasts!
We handed out stickers, coupons and OtterBox 1000 cases, and our booth was a popular pit stop after all-day wheeling. We also got to ride along through California Gulch and Corkscrew Gulch to check out abandoned mines, red mountains and pristine blue-green lakes, as well as an exciting night ride up Poughkeepsie Gulch.
With breathtaking scenery, jokes and singing over the CB radios and an amazing group of people it’s no surprise the FJ Summit keeps us coming back! Hope to see all of our FJ friends in 2010.

Over the past month, OtterBox employees have been competing against 21 other Fort Collins companies to raise money and collect food to support the Larimer County Food Bank in the “Corporate Food Fight.”
Of course we wouldn’t be true Otters if we didn’t take our first year in the competition to the next level…
Oreo Outrage:This tasty battle of speed and strength matched up women vs. women (eating original Oreos) and men vs. men (eating double-stuffed Oreos). Winners that ate the most Oreos in one minute got a one-of-a-kind Oreo decal trophy and one year bragging rights! Jarrod brought home the victory for the men and Natasha (and baby Ava on the way) brought home the victory for the women. Get up close to the milk sloshing, face stuffing battle by watching the live video here: http://www.otterbox.com/oreo-outrage-09.
Battle of the Biceps: A good old fashioned arm wrestling match for only the toughest Otters. Competitors arm wrestled for one minute and if nobody dominated they switched arms and battled for another minute. To commemorate their success, winners received a gold cup trophy complete with shiny stars. Tanya vs. Mallory (our only women competitors) showed the men how to do it by starting off the battle and tied, both taking home a gold cup. The men: Trevor, Jarrod, Cameron and Matt also brought home victories. The main event of course was between Shane and Bill…The bet: if Bill lost he had to shave his legs and if Shane lost he had to shave his head. Judging by the pictures, you can easily tell who won this battle. Check out our photo album here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=75737&id=54145863002&l=285e095ff0.
With over $200 in donations and around 250 pounds of food, OtterBox looks forward to making a generous donation back to the Larimer County Food Bank by fighting hunger one competition at a time!
