This past weekend OtterBox took
FIRST
PLACE in the SuperStars Sports Challenge here in
Fort Collins.
Consisting of fundraising, Bocce Ball, Volleyball, Dodgeball and a Big Wheel
Relay Race, the event helped raise money and awareness for local organization Partners Mentoring
Youth.
Partners Mentoring Youth creates and
supports one-to-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models
and youth facing challenges in their personal, social and academic lives. They
also provide fun activities and educational opportunities for “at risk” youth
each month.
The Team OtterBox donation will help
support 4 partnerships this year, but there are currently still over 100 youth
on the waiting list to be matched with Senior Partners. If you live in or near

Nick Fasano, Fort Collins, Colo., dreams of someday owning his own snowboard shop, and winning the 2009 OtterBox Entrepreneurial Scholarship will help to make his dream a reality!
Planning to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. this fall and pursue a degree in Business, Fasano was thrilled to receive the scholarship. “I put a lot of time into writing my essay and this is exactly what I wanted,” he said. “It’s a dream scholarship!”
“The core of OtterBox is an entrepreneurial spirit,” said OtterBox CEO, Curt Richardson. “This scholarship supports that value by rewarding entrepreneurial drive and encouraging future generations to generate new businesses.”
This is the third year OtterBox has awarded local Fort Collins, Colo. students with the Entrepreneurial Scholarship and Richardson plans to continue the award in years to come because he believes it’s a great way to reward young entrepreneurs.
