Business here at OtterBox has been hot, hot, hot! In celebration, the Otter gang hosted its first ever chili cook-off this week. Six delicious chilies entered the competition and at lunch time everyone gathered in the break room to taste and rank.
Paying attention to the official judging criteria: aroma, color, consistency, taste and aftertaste, we carefully tasted each option, making sure to “cleanse our pallets” with bread in between each chili.
Everyone waited in suspense for the results as contest officials tabulated the scores. After a lengthy drum roll, chili number 4, belonging to Eric, took home the prize: a beautifully framed certificate and bragging rights (at least until the next competition). Runner-up Jarrod jealously eyed the prize.
Just another eventful Friday afternoon here at OtterBox!
October chill is here; which means Halloween is lurking around the corner. Will you be Beetlejuice or Darth Vader, Miss Mafia or the Candy Corn Witch? Whatever you are make sure you layer-up. October 31st almost always promises snow.

You may ask yourself how such a cool company like OtterBox builds unity and employee moral.
The answer is simple, with Rock Band of course! This music video game allows players to perform in a
"virtual band" complete with a singer, lead guitar, bass guitar and drum player.
Friday September 26th was the band’s first "live" performance: OtterPalooza-Fest-Aroo-Stock,
featuring Big Head Shelton & The Otters (AKA: Sales Director James Shelton on the drums, Account Executives
Eric "Lips" Land on the mic, and Bill Mastre and Shane Rabideau on the guitar).
Just like a live rock concert it was loud, sweaty and we enjoyed a few cold ones. Oh and the
costumes (fros and mullets alike) were priceless! Rock on!
