Hello Everyone! I am back to answer more questions about the best protection available for your iPhone 3Gs...
Question 1) Does the Defender 3G case fit in the Defender series armband? Answer: YES! You can use the Defender Series Armband with your OtterBox for iPhone 3G Defender Series.
Question 2) Is there a trick to getting it out of the holster? It is held tight but you practically have to rip it out of the holster to get it out! Answer: YES, there is a trick. Put your thumb on the back of the holster, and your fingers on the back of the OtterBox. Push down with your thumb and pull up with your fingers, and voila! Also, remember that the fit will loosen up with time and usage. We made the fit very secure because we want your device to be safe and sound in the holster.
Question 3) $50 for a rubber case? What differentiates this from the $.99 ones on eBay? Answer: Hey, if you want a flimsy, cheap case with hardly any protection, you go ahead. The difference between a $.99 eBay case and an OtterBox Defender is the LAYERS. We have 3 layers of protection, and those cheap cases BARELY have 1 layer. Those "eBay cases" use cheap plastic that rips after a few uses--and they don't even protect your Touch Screen! We use strong, form-fitting Silicone that absorbs shock, and a patented membrane that protects the Touch Screen from scratches and dings. So--it's really up to you. We'll take the Pepsi challenge against those cheap cases on eBay ANY DAY. Also, do those cheap cases come with a revolutionary ClipStand holster? I don't think so.

Didn't the iPhone come out months ago? And $50 for a rubber case? What differentiates this from the $.99 ones on eBay?

Receieved the 3g defender case today. Very Nice! Only question is the holster. Is there a trick to getting it out of the holster? It is held tight but you practically have to rip it out of the holster to get it out !

Does the Defender 3G case fit in the Defender series armband?

Hey Otters!
Well, the OtterBox for iPhone 3G Defender Series have been just FLYING out the door, which is very exciting. I would like to address some questions now:
1) Why not make an Armor Case for the iPhone 3G? Answer: We did extensive research and conducted surveys with our customers to come up with this decision. The fact is that not many people were interested in an Armor Series case, and the first Armor Series case wasn't a big performer, so we nixed it. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you--but the decision has been made NOT to manufacture an Armor Series case for the iPhone 3G.
2) When will the other colors be available? When they are available, will another coupon code be available? Answer: The other colors will be available before the month is out, and you will all know about it. As for the coupon code, subscribe to our newsletter and look for a special offer in your email inbox when the new colors are available!
3) Will the new OtterBox for iPhone Defender Series HOLSTER be able to hold the phone with the screen facing IN? Answer: YES! The new "ClipStand" holster was designed for both screen-in and screen-out orientations. You can also prop your phone up and watch it on plane rides with the revolutionary rotating clip. It works like an easel and we really think you all will enjoy it!
That is all for now Otters! Keep the questions coming and we'll keep the answers flowin'.

When will you actually have the white/white case? If it comes out, does it have the coupon like right now you're offering?
Thank you.

"As for all of the Armor Series questions, we regret to inform you that there will be no Armor Series made for the iPhone 3G"
Well, that's disappointing - and a lost sale.

Hi there- I am so excited about the otterbox for my iPhone, mostly because I work at a middle school and am jostled by the students when they see the coolness of my gadget. Just curious- when will other colors be available?

Please tell me that the new defender series for the iphone 3g allows you to turn the phone into the holster. So that the screen does not face the outside.

Ordered my defender case as soon as it was available. But I still have to ask why not do the armor case for the 3G. Would love to have that one for all my outdoor activity and then switch into the defender for work days.
Still excited to see the defender case.

I mountain bike and hike (Bhike) so I really would love to know if you'll make a waterproof case for the Iphone 3G?...I'd really like that.
Feel free to e-mail any information on this, thanks.
